Terms of Use
1. "AS IS"
Services rendered by the Illinois Thompson School in its website and
through its representatives are offered on "as is " basis. If any
imprecision or error is found in its written documents are noticed by
users and if they give notice to us, we will try our best to fix it.
However, no warranty is offer whatsoever on the issue.
2. Accreditation
ITS is not an accredited school with any accreditation board. The
"legalization of Diploma" referred in our website should not be understood
as a kind of accreditation. The legalization that our website refers is a
procedure that may be available to students that wish make their
diplomas legal to an international level through the Hague Conference. ITS
is not affiliated with the Hague Conference neither it is its
representative. We don't promise in any way whatsoever to mediate any
process with the Hague Conference, since its services are available to the
public in general.
5. Transfer
ITS reserves to itself the right of accepting or not credits from other
schools. If we accept them, it will be under our entire discretion, and
up to half of the amount of credits required by us for similar program.
ITS cannot and will not guarantee that other schools will accept ITS
credits. Such acceptance depends on their criteria and internal policies
about which ITS has no control or influence.
6. "No Obligation to Stay"
Students at ITS are not obligated in any way whatsoever to remain students
of our school. They may stop their courses and programs whenever they
wish. ITS will not release any information about students if they have any
fee or assignment is due.
7 Deadline Extensions
Deadline Extensions are of exclusive prerogative of ITS Management.
Students may apply for deadline extensions knowing that there is no
obligation or guarantee they will be granted. If a deadline extension is
granted a "low performance fee" of $5.00 may be accessed. However,
deadline extensions, if obeyed, will not appear on students permanent
record.
8. "Low Performance Fees"
"Low performance" is a term to indicate that student's performance is
inadequate to ITS goals or policies. Low performance fees, are due at the
end of each course they incurred in. Their non-payment may prevent
students to register for other courses. Low performance fees are not
payment for services (except when involving office work), and will not be
returned unless received in error by ITS.
This "Terms of Use" may be changed, added, cancelled by ITS discretion
in any time. Please check it weekly for changes or updates.
